I’m sorry but I can’t really help you with Windows… maybe try emailing the NI people directly? They’ve been really nice to me so I’d imagine they will help you too! Just make sure to share the fix later .. or post some info here (if you get any).

the settings I changed are in the ‘Sharing and Permissions’ panel. Give access on that folder to all users, by setting the ‘Read and Write’ privilege on all the three dropdowns. But again – doing this is a *non-secure* set up – it’s a good idea to put things back to their original state once you’re finished with the GuitarRig hack!
