Where is Italy?

It’s not nig news that italy is economically sinking, but this map makes my skin crawl… it compares each american state’s economic output to another country’s GDP. But where is italy? I’m not strong in economy but it doesnt feel good seeing it not in there…

Germany is missing either… So I think the map makers simply forgot some countries…

Surely the fact that Italy is not there would suggest it has a higher GDP than any US state, although it should probably be in California instead of France.
