I spent a couple of days in Linz, Austria, visiting for the first time the Ars Electronica centre and the related festival which is happening these days. It's an impressive event, lots and lots of things to see, spanning from the latest technologies used in scientific research to the most visionary art installations. The city and people of Linz (and Austria, more generally) are definitely doing a wonderful job in keeping this up, and especially in making this so accessible also to non-experts!
