EMLoT
An academic project stemming out of a collaboration between King's College (London), Southampton University and Toronto University.
Early Modern London Theatres (EMLoT) is a research database and educational resource that lets you see what direct use has been made, over the last four centuries, of pre-1642 documents related to professional performance in purpose-built theatres and other permanent structures in the London area (1642 us the year the Puritan movement took control of the city of London and ordered the closure of the London theatres).
