The Musical Code
The Musical Code website contain a collection of compositions, tutorials, lessons-learned and video performances on the topic of musical algorithmic composition.
These experimental musical algorithms are all using the Extempore programming language (as well as it precursor Impromptu).
The website has a counterpart GitHub repo, as well as a YouTube channel, where you can watch/listen the works in execution.
Algorithmic composition?
Algorithmic composition is the technique of using algorithms to create music -- Wikipedia
Admittedly, that's a rather unconventional way of making music. But it's also fun and (in its own way) spectacularly unique. You can do that live too, in front of an audience sitting or dancing: it goes by the name of livecoding.
